Do you use Magazines to give you inspiration for holiday decorating?
Today I am happy to be joining my friend Katherine of Katherine’s Corner to show you a little Valentine inspiration.
Katherine sent out an invitation to create a romantic style, valentine magazine cover. We could use a magazine we like as inspiration. Or we could create a magazine exactly as we would if we had a magazine of our own.
Love is in the Air – Magazine Challenge
For the Magazine Challenge I choose this great cover from Romantic Homes from January 2015.
And this is what I came up with!
It was fun putting this all together and challenged me to create something fun for the holiday!
These simple straw toppers were created the for the photo shoot …
…. Trying to recreate the ones shown on the magazine cover.
They were simply printed onto card stock and slipped onto the stripped pink straws.
Wouldn’t these make great additions to juice boxes for children’s valentine’s?
